Downtown Stakeholders: On February 9, 2010 the Hart City Council approved the full application to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for grant funds in the amount $436,000 for the Downtown Gateway Streetscape project. This project is proposed to be constructed on the NE corner of State and Main. Thank you again for the many written comments supporting the project AND to the 15+ downtown advocates who attended the Council meeting last night. BTW, the Council is considering three new grant prospects for more community improvements. Please mark your calendars for the next downtown update meeting: Tuesday, March 2nd, 7 PM in the 117 S.
